Biomaxa Bio-degreaser is a new generation high performance drive train cleaner designed to quickly and effectively clean chain lube, oils, grime and dirt built up on your chain, chain rings, derailleur and rear sprockets. Being a dedicated drivetrain cleaner it is not recommended to be used as a general purpose bike cleaner – hence it should be kept away from brakes and brake surfaces.

For cleaning the rest of your bicycle use Biomaxa Bio-wash™

Biomaxa Bio-degreaser™ is safe on any surface (carbon fibre, aluminium, steel, titanium, plastic, rubber, paint, clear-coat and anodizing) and will not damage seals, brakes or cables. We recommend you wash off all surfaces before it can dry on.

Application

Our suggested method of use:
Pour some Biomaxa Bio-degreaser™ into a container.
Using a brush with medium stiffness bristles – brush on the Biomaxa Bio-degreaser™ onto the chain generously coating all surfaces. If you have removed the chain – then fully immerse and soak.
Wipe and scrub down all surfaces where necessary.
Rinse with clean hot water and dry.

An alternative cleaning method is to use in conjunction with a mechanical cleaner. We recommend in this instance a couple of iterations in order to flush out the soil. To ensure extra clean we also suggest a rinse with hot water before letting it thoroughly dry off and applying Biomaxa Bio-Lubricant™

When you are finished don’t forget to dry your chain and then lube with Biomaxa Bio-Lubricant™ for optimum performance.
